Honest grading of the 2017 NBA Draft 1st round

National Basketball Association

Wow what a night of seeing young men become millionaires, I know I was on the edge of my seat the whole night wondering who would be selected next.

Now that the dust has settled, let’s hand out some grades for the 1st round, where the big names will either make an impact for years to come on their team, or will flop and really hurt the future of their team.

Just as a heads up, you may not like your team’s grade. On SI.com for example, 28 of the 30 teams got a B- or higher. The worst grade was a C-. That’s insanely unrealistic and there is no way all 30 players end up earning a passing grade over their careers.

So we’re going to give you an honest, well-thought-out assessment of each pick and what it means in the immediate future.
