Starting whenever you want, HOTSPROTSTAKES.com, home of the hottest takes on the web (all are super serious), is offering you the chance to write about, or rant about in audio or video form, about whatever you want*.

You want to ramble about a big cricket match that’s happening over in Pakistan? Go right ahead. You want to share your thoughts on the latest Game of Thrones episode? Be our guest. You think tech startups are a bunch of people skirting the rules to make money? Let the takes fly.

Now, there are some caveats here, you may have noticed the asterisk up there.

First off, no political stuff. Sorry. We’re a HOT TAKES site, and while politics often does provided hot takes, we want the site to be a break from all that stuff. So if you think you’re the next Tomi Lahren, Alex Jones, or whoever it is the left trots out to try to give takes, sorry, take it elsewhere.

Also, no Nazi shit. That’s a given. If you’re all about making the world white again, go hangout on 4Chan or wherever they allow that shit.

And obviously, no racist shit. Everybody love everybody at HST, except Clay Travis, fuck that guy.

We of course will be looking over every video, mini podcast, or written take before it gets published. If all goes well and you want to chip in more than once a week, or once a month, or just one time, we can add you to our group of full-time* writers.

* = we hang out on Twitter, chat, and rarely ever write.

Obviously we can’t pay, in fact, this site costs money just to get the URL each year, but again, the point of the site is just to be an outlet for whatever people want to write about, with the above exceptions.
