This is it: we’re finally here.

It’s time to reveal the first two groups of logos to go throught the gauntlet. In case you don’t remember what this bracket is about, here’s an introduction to how all of this will work.

There are plenty of good candidates in the first two of our 16 groups. Recognizable teams from the English and French soccer pyramid find themselves in these groups, populated mostly by lower-tier European and South American leagues. But alas, the only qualification to move on is which logo is more subjectively beautiful, with the tiebreak being aesthetic pleasure.

We will first reveal each group and then provide a place for you to vote directly for each of your favorite logos. At the end of the voting process, the bracket for the knockout rounds will be revealed.

Eight of the teams selected for this process will participate in play-in games and therefore will have a separate article for which to vote.
