The most popular show on HGTV, by a mile, is getting a spinoff to give viewers even more time to watch a pair of Texans fawn over their love of shiplap.
That’s right, Fixer Upper will be getting a spinoff that goes behind the scenes of certain aspects of the show.
After months of not saying anything as Flip or Flop stars Tarek and Christina went through a very public, and weird break-up, HGTV has finally given us some news on the future of the show.
SPOILER: It’s not going away, but it’s not coming back in the way you think.
By now you have likely heard the news that Tarek and Christina of HGTV’s ‘Flip or Flop’ are getting a divorce. It’s a weird situation where she is apparently diddling their contractor, he marched off into the woods with a gun, and is apparently dating anything that moves since they split.
That’s all fine and good, whatever, shit happens, people need to get away from someone and sometimes a marriage doesn’t work out.
But what’s weirder is there is nothing from HGTV about this whole situation.
As cable and internet gets more and more expensive we’re all searching for ways to save a few dollars while still being able to watch our favorite shows in one way or another.
Some of us bite the bullet and just get cable, some will use passwords from their parents or friends to have a cable-like experience on their streaming devices, and some use less than legal means to go about this.
I’m here to review what is, in my opinion, the best, cheapest, legal way to get 95% of what you want from cable without the pain of dealing with the cable companies.
It’s no secret if you know me in real life, or just follow me on twitter, that I am a huge fan of HGTV. When I have a weekday off from work, there is nothing that makes me happier than to hunker down on the couch and watch a few hours of high quality HGTV. Maybe you’re not familiar with HGTV or just getting started with their programming, so I’m here to steer you towards the best shows they have.
